I have been creating this image in my mind for 6 months, but finally broke through the impasse and started laying out my vision. Taking a refresher class at Crealde School of Art has gotten the creative juices flowing again! There is a story here, of course, but my hope is the viewer will find their own.
As I begin to immerse myself in my art heart's journey once again, I am hoping to share it with those who have an interest. Being in the Pacific Northwest is fertile ground for the next level of exploration.
For me, it is all about finding my way back to the limitless joy that art provides, as balance to the pain and darkness, on the other side. Painting is one part, but the sound of music, creative writing as expression, and performance art all embody who I really am.
I love to teach, using my skills in art therapy and I hope to be of service in some way, from this place in my heart, to my new community.
